Prof. Sanath Lanerolle

The Inauguration ceremony of the newly appointed President of the Sri Lanka College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Senior Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Prof. Sanath Lanerolle was held at the Shangri-La Hotel Colombo on the 16th of January 2022. The ceremony was presided over by the Prime Minister’s wife, Madam Shiranthi Rajapaksa. Traditionally, the outgoing President of year 2021, Dr. Pradeep de Silva presented Prof. Lanerolle with the president’s medal and handed over the new presidency. Past President, Dr. Lakshman Senanayake was the Chief Guest of the event.
